More Night Lights!

Night Lights have been a hit. Besides their aesthetic qualities and the utility of having a bit of light to guide the way in the middle of the night, mine feature LEC bulbs comparable to 4 watt bulbs so that they're not energy hogs even if left on 24/7. Do you want just the wall behind the glass to be lit up or a bright light to show the way? The new designs range from transparent to opaque!

Soup Bowls are back!

I've been practicing cutting circles! Who knew they would require warming the glass--and of course over the winter, the only way to do that will be to lay the sheet to be cut on the top of the warm, firing kiln. The studio is heated with wood and is frequently pretty cool in the winter until I get the fire going!

I like to think of these as 'wearable art' and am still experimenting with simple methods of deploying these little glass 'gems' to form memorable and fun necklaces and earrings! They will have their own tab in the future.
